Capsules, gummies or powder? How to compare supplements

Compare supplement formats using real Kodagenix examples. Check ingredients, full serving sizes, preparation and cost before choosing capsules, gummies or powder.

You can buy supplements as capsules, gummies or powder, but changing the format can also mean changing the formula. Start with what you want to compare, then read the full serving details. Convenience matters once you know what each product actually contains.

Separate the format from the formula

A capsule is a way of taking a supplement. It does not identify the ingredients inside. The same is true of a gummy or a scoop of powder. Two products sold for similar routines may use different ingredients, ingredient forms and amounts.

For example, Kodagenix Creatine Quad Stack is a multi-ingredient capsule product. Kodagenix Creatine Monohydrate is a powder with flavor options. Treat them as separate formulas, rather than assuming a number of capsules equals a scoop of powder.

Count complete servings, not pieces

  • Preworkout Gummies: the 30-count box has 30 individually wrapped gummies, with one gummy per labeled serving. Each contains 300 mg caffeine and is for adults 18+.

  • Creatine Quad Stack: the 360-capsule bottle provides 60 labeled servings at six capsules per serving.

  • Flavored Creatine Monohydrate: a 400 g tub provides 80 labeled 5 g servings, each listing 4.5 g creatine monohydrate.

These examples show how different the serving units can be. They are not a recommendation to combine the products or a claim that the formulas are equivalent.

Match preparation to your day

Individually wrapped gummies can be packed one serving at a time. Powders require measuring and mixing according to their directions. Capsules avoid flavor selection and mixing, but the complete serving may involve several capsules. Check what you would actually need to take and carry.

Read other ingredients as well. Gummies can contain sweeteners and gelling ingredients; powders may contain flavors and colors; capsule shells can be made from different materials. Kodagenix Quad Stack lists bovine gelatin for its capsule shell, so it is not a vegetarian option.

Use a five-point comparison before buying

  • Write down the product’s exact name and formula.

  • Record the full serving size and ingredient amounts.

  • Check warnings, caffeine and other ingredients against your needs.

  • Divide the purchase price by the labeled number of servings.

  • Choose a preparation method that you can follow consistently.

If a product page cites research, check which ingredient, form and amount the study used, and what it measured. A paper about an ingredient does not by itself establish results for a different multi-ingredient product.

The FDA advises discussing supplements with a doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional, especially when medicines or other supplements are involved. Keep the original label available and follow its directions.
